Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery Services

When  a Disaster Strikes or an Emergency Situation develops, the direct impact it will have on your organization depends on your ability to respond quickly and effectively.  During a disaster is no time to start thinking about what to do or what should have been done.

It may be a local situation effecting your organization only, such as; flooding in part of your building, fire at your facility, a power outage affecting you or your neighbors.  It may be on a larger scale, such as; an earthquake, flooding in the community, fires, tornados, hurricanes, terrorist activities, etc.

If you already have an Emergency Management Plan here are a few things to think about.  Has your plan been updated within the last year?  When was the last time you tested your plan?  Have you included every possible situation and resource in your plan?  Do you have signed agreements with external resources to provide services within a specified time frame?  Does your plan provide contingencies to replace resources that are unavailable?
